CHECK-IN: Friday, October 25th; Open from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.
- At least one team member must be present to check-in for the team
- The Reserve at St. Charles Bay, 119 Reserve Lane, Rockport, TX
TOURNAMENT: Saturday, October 26th Fish must be caught on October 26th between midnight and 3:00pm
- Teams: $100 per Team Member, may use a fishing guide; up to 4 team members per team (plus guide if applicable); People with a Guide’s/Captain’s license may be on the boat, but are not allowed to fish
- Boundaries: South of the Victoria Barge Canal; North of the Port Aransas Jetty
- Catch, Photo Tournament: Fish must be measured on provided “Check-It Stik” and must include the “Object of The Day”; tails may be pinched to achieve longest measurement possible
Details of photo submittal will be provided at Check-in
- Categories:
- Stringer: Longest total length wins (2 Trout and 2 Redfish) (in the event of a tie, longest trout is the tie breaker)
- Biggest Trout: Longest Trout wins (in the event of a tie, second longest trout is the tie breaker)
- Biggest Redfish: Longest Redfish wins (in the event of a tie, second longest redfish is the tie breaker)
- All Redfish must be in the slot (20”-28”); no Redfish over 28”
- All Trout must be a minimum of 15”
- All forms of fishing permitted, including fishing from land/docks, kayak fishing, wade fishing, boat fishing
- All applicable Texas Parks and Wildlife, other Texas state, and Federal laws and regulations apply
- No altering of fish (e.g. cutting of tails, etc.)
SIDE-POTS:
- These will be done on an individual basis (not team basis)
- There will be 3 tournament side-pots. Each side-pot is $50 per individual
- (1) Spot Side-Pot: The single Redfish with the most spots wins. Individuals may submit a different fish than that used for other categories (no minimum or maximum length)
- (2) Longest Trout Side-pot (no maximum length)
- (3) Longest Redfish Side-pot (no maximum length)
- 100% of each pot goes to the winning individual
AWARDS PARTY: Saturday, October 26th at 6:00pm
- Beer, Wine, BBQ, and Live Music
- Non-Fishing Guests may attend party for $28 per person (13+ years old) and $15 per person (2-12 years old)
